IPPA GOLD AWARDS

BRIGID HAS BEEN WINNING AWARDS ALL YEAR WITH THE IRISH PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS ASSOCIATION... With submissions in Portraiture, Fine Art and Landscape catagories Brigid has secured numerous awards that will go forward to the overall PHOTOGRAPHER OF YEAR in January....

HAPPY FACES DAY 2008

Happy Faces Day, which took place on Tuesday April 1st, is an ambitious nationwide fundraising project organised by the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) and has benefited the Irish children’s charity, Angels Quest. For just a €35 donation, individuals had their photograph taken and received a 5x7 print in a presentation folder. 100% of every donation went directly to Angels Quest. A calander with portraits of images taken on this day will go on sale soon in Superquinn and Dunnes Stores. Watch your local store for details Brigids work has received 17 awards during the year in the judging of 2008’s IPPA National Photographic Awards competition and these images go through to the overall judging at the end of the year.
